Carol seems to have a secret to her remarkable figure and vibrant energy. She attributes it to her confidence, healthy habits, and a diet rich in sprouts.
The former Countdown host is now revealing her lifestyle tips, including the snacks she keeps on hand daily to support her fitness journey.
In a lighthearted chat with Saga Magazine, she quipped, “I wear a good bra and jeans that keep everything in place.” She mentioned that her typical eating routine consists of just one meal a day, usually enjoyed in the late afternoon.
For snacks, she opts for sprouts, which she carries around and nibbles on throughout the day. She finds them to be both satisfying and nutritious.
Even though she has a fantastic figure, she confesses that she hasn’t been feeling her best lately. A hectic writing schedule and a knee injury have kept her from hitting the gym. Nevertheless, she remains determined to keep moving forward as much as she can.
She expressed, “I really don’t care what people think about my appearance. I’ve reached a stage in my life where others’ opinions don’t matter to me at all.”
She incorporates weight training into her fitness regimen, claiming it helps her maintain her strength. Additionally, she mentioned that having a personal trainer has significantly pushed her boundaries. Carol also shares her workout routines with her online followers, which likely serves as motivation for both her and her fans.
There’s a lot of curiosity about how she maintains her impressive figure, but she insists that cosmetic procedures aren’t involved. “I can promise you, I haven’t had any bottom implants,” she joked. “It’s just the same natural shape—thanks to the Vorderman family genes. It’s a family characteristic.”
When it comes to her diet, she’s open and transparent, with no hidden secrets. She stopped using scales back in 1999 and now prioritizes how she feels over the number on the scale. Her meals are mostly unprocessed, she detoxes every six months, and she allows herself some treats from time to time.
She stated: “It’s not about counting calories. It’s about being aware of what we eat and focusing on consuming more, not less.”
She often attends retreats for detoxing and shared that she lost a dress size in 2022. During that period, she exclaimed, “I’m overflowing with energy! I haven’t worn these shorts in ages, and now they’re too big. Boom!”
Even with her healthy habits, she still enjoys a delicious breakfast from time to time, featuring bacon and fresh eggs.
